Party, Party, Party!

This has been the week of parties! I feel so blessed to be able to see my kids growing up healthy and strong, and to see their friends growing up right along side of them. The pictures here are from a birthday party for one of Ben's friends at a skating rink. Ben put on the skates, but when we got to the floor he started crying for daddy - who was home with Sammy! Jake got right out there and started to skate. He was so determined. He kept going even after he fell many times.

The other pics are from Ben and Sammy's preschool Christmas program. They were so adorable. Sammy was wheeled out in a wagon with the babies in his class, and Ben performed two songs with his class.

And, of course, we have the pictures from the yearly birthday blowout we have for the boys, thanks to my mom! They had such a great time playing pirate games with their friends and getting presents, although Jacob didn't like the "musical presents" game at the end. He was so worried that Ben was going to open one of his presents. Meanwhile, Ben was crying because someone was holding one of Sammy's presents by mistake. In the end it all worked out, though, and everyone left happy.
